Forkanul and I were both elected to serve the population of the city of Southampton and attend meetings where we hear about performance and future plans for the trust.

We ask questions and make comments about the information given to us, however, we are also dependent on contact from people living in the city to tell us about their views and experiences.

 

During the period of the Covid - 19 pandemic we have not had as much contact with local people so are writing to the Daily Echo to remind people of our role and to suggest you contact us if you have any views or experiences at UHS that you think we should know about.

 

My primary interest is the care of people living with dementia while in the hospital but I am happy to raise any issue relating to the way hospital services are run or its plans for the future.

 

Forkanul would be interested to hear about your experiences in critical care and of any positive experiences that could be shared with NHS staff as your feedback means so much to them.
