Community Clean Up in Kent Road

18 March 2019

Last weekend saw Southampton and District Green Party lead another successful community clean up, this time focusing on Kent Road. The clean up was attended by a number of members of the public in addition to party members, who between them collected a dozen black sacks full of rubbish as well as a bike wheel and furniture. All glass bottles found were placed in grey recycling bins ready to enter the glass recovery system.

Future clean ups are planned for Portswood (7th April) and St Denys (22nd April). New volunteers are very welcome to join us on those dates; if you would like to come along and help clean up your neighbourhood, please do get in touch.
